Can I tell you about my china cabinet? Thanks. When we were house hunting more than 15 years ago, we were praying and asking God for a house. We were really wanting our own house after renting for several years. Well, I had always wanted a china cabinet so I could finally unpack my china. I was thinking along the lines of--"God, one of those corner little china cabinets would do just fine." But I asked Him for a China Cabinet. Well, He gave me a twelve foot six inch china cabinet. It was a real problem at first. I unpacked the china and that's about all I had to fill it up. What a problem to have, huh? Over the years I've been gifted with beautiful things to display in it. God is so good. The Bible says we have not because we ask not. His timing is a different story. LOL We waited five years for our prayers to be answered. I know nothing like Abraham and Sarah, right?
Blessings,
I don't remember ever seeing a cabinet so large. It must be fabulous to look at with all the treasures stored inside :)

Hi Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteIs your home for sale? If so, we will buy it just so I can have your china cabinet *grin*. I think I've never seen one so large. Seriously though, it was made just for you - there are no coincidences.
I've got my sewing space back in order now. We had to rearrange the room to include two tables for Christmas dinner. That is the only way we can all eat together.
Take care . . .
That is one beautiful china cabinet. I guess God knew what size you needed and he wasn't going to let you suffer with one little corner unit. It is nice to have enclosed areas for display too, less dust, nobody picking things up and dropping them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty....God is good and gives his children the desires of their heart BUT in His time....He does abundantly above all we ask or think...amazing....don't you love Him....Maine
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when He gives you something better than you could have imagined...for me that only happens when I truly trust Him... Wow...good for you.
